Easily a favorite Mexican restaurant in Wichita. We travel quite a bit and even with those out of town trips we haven't had such great food and great service. We had a server named Freddie who was truly phenomenal! He was very attentive but also knew when to let us be!! We will for sure be asking for Freddie next time we go!

When we arrived, we were unsure what to expect since there was only one other table with people. We were Andrante's promptly and the hostess/server took our drink orders. She delivered drinks quickly and took our food order. We ordered queso and guac as well. The queso and guac were both really good as was the house margarita. I had the taco plate that came with two ground beef tacos in fried flour shells with a side of rice or beans. The shells were fried to a golden brown and were filled full of filling. We enjoyed the our meals and are glad to ave discovered Armando's.

We tried this recently opened Mexican Restaurant. They are affiliated with the Armando's Mexican Grill in Clearwater, KS. They have a pretty extensive menu, but not many Taco choices (those are my Husband's Favorites.).
We entered and were immediately seated. It was Sunday at 11 am. The person who seated us was also our Server. She was very attentive but did not wear a name bade and I forgot to ask for her name. She took our drink order and Hubby ordered a bowl of Queso. We got their 'House Margaritas' on the Rocks, plus a glass of water. Someone else brought us our Chips and Salsa. I asked if they had a hotter Salsa and she asked if I was sure and I said yes. She brought back a second bowl of Salsa that was a deeper red and had pepper seeds in it. When our Server arrived with our Drinks she asked for our Order. The House Margaritas were EXCELLENT, by the way. Hubby ordered a 2 Burrito Dinner with Pork and all Refried Beans and I ordered their Taco Salad with Chicken. The meals arrived rather quickly. Hubby said that his Burritos were really bland and that their was more meat on top of his Burritos than inside the flour tortillas. My Taco Salad had Refried Beans and Chicken then Lettuce, Tomatoes, a drizzle of Sour Cream and then a spoonful of Guacamole. I was pleased to see that the preformed bowl was made out of Corn Tortilla instead of flour. I dug to the bottom and got some beans and chicken -- the chicken had a weird taste -- it wasn't seasoned and tasted old. I gave it 2 more tries and decided that I wasn't going to eat the Chicken I ate the salad items from the top and broke off a piece of the Corn Tortilla Bowl. Hubby asked me what was wrong with the Chicken and I told him and he said 'Don't eat it -- take it home to the Dogs'. When our Server went by -- we requested a 'Take Home Box'. So we put the bottom part of my Taco Salad and one of Hubby's Burritos and his Refried Beans into the box.
The Server brought our Bill and quickly processed it. I will say that it was reasonably priced. The interior was nicely decorated and it looked very clean. I think that we will give it another try or at least go in for Margaritas and Appetizers.
